How This Practice Test Works
- Each attempt draws 15–20 questions at random from our pool of 152 and shuffles the answer order. Score 80% or more and the next test moves up a difficulty level; under 50% and it eases back.
- After every answer you see an explanation and the La. R.S. 37: reference behind it.
- We use 70% as a practice target. The LSLBC says the Business and Law exam has 50 questions, takes about 30 to 45 minutes and needs a score of 70 or above. It is taken online in the LSLBC Contractor Portal after a one-hour course.
- There is no sign-up. Your level is saved only in this browser.
These are original questions written by our editorial team from the published La. R.S. 37:. They are not real exam questions. Questions follow Louisiana Revised Statutes Title 37, Chapter 24 (Contractors) as published by the state legislature. Board rules and the trade or business topics on licensing exams are not covered.
