Master Plumber Exam Guide
How the ICC master plumber exam is set up, what it covers, and the plumbing code rules worth knowing before exam day.
The International Code Council (ICC) offers a National Standard Master Plumber exam, and many states and cities use ICC or their own vendor. Rules, code editions and pass marks vary, so check your licensing board first.
Exam Format
According to the ICC exam outline:

- The reference is the International Plumbing Code.
